Our journey began with Detective Monkey, an education venture built around a simple ambition: make useful technology and better opportunities accessible to schools and students.
01 · Where it began
Working with schools brought it into focus
Schools in Assam needed support with everyday tasks—admissions, attendance, fees, examinations and communication with parents. Students needed guidance to understand their options and make decisions about their future.
We began by building tools to help.

A school's needs are connected
Through Detective Monkey, we developed school management technology and expanded into practical services, including digital classrooms, school essentials and institutional support.
Software works best when teachers can use it comfortably, school teams receive dependable support, and parents can stay informed.
Every school we worked with helped us understand where technology could make a meaningful difference—and where people, training and service mattered just as much.
03 · Why ReCampus took shape
One connected ecosystem
As our understanding grew, so did our vision. We wanted to bring school operations, essential services, student guidance and research into one connected ecosystem.
ReCampus took shape from that ambition, carrying forward the experience gained through Detective Monkey.
The name reflects our purpose: helping schools begin their next chapter, while helping students prepare for theirs.
04 · Looking beyond marks
Understanding a student's development over time
How can we understand a student's development over time and use that understanding to offer better support?
This question drives ART—the Assessment & Recommendation Tool, currently in development. Our research explores intellectual, emotional, physical and motivational dimensions, alongside learning experiences and progress.
Our aim is to develop evidence-based recommendations that help students, educators and families make more informed decisions. As the research develops, we also see possibilities for supporting career readiness and employment.

Rooted in Assam, building for India
Our journey has included incubation support at IIT Guwahati and opportunities within the wider startup ecosystem. These experiences continue to inform how we build, research and grow.
